Kazakh President tasks to ease mechanisms of allocation of pastures to farmers

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during his working trip to North Kazakhstan region ordered to simplify mechanisms of allocation of pastures to farmers, Akorda told on Twitter.
"Kazakhstan while occupying 5th place on pastures in the world, uses only 40% of them. The mechanisms of allocation of these pastures should be simplified and improved for farmers. The works on reclamation of shielings should be activated," Tokayev noted.
The head of state also underlined the importance of development of family farming, which is widely practiced in the world.
Speaking at the meeting, the President called on to switch to a lucrative crop. The Ministry of Agriculture was ordered to find out what hinders to more active growth of this product.
Tokayev believes that modern agricultural technologies and innovation should be launched in the country. He noted that the country needs to build some plants on production of fertilizers and pesticides with the attraction of foreign investments.
