Ombudsman's Institute returns 4 Kyrgyz children from Russia in 2018

AKIPRESS.COM - One of the main directions of Ombudsman's activities is returning children of Kyrgyz labor migrants left unattended, said Ombudsman Tokon Mamytov at the parliament meeting on Sept 18. Ombudsman visited 2 orphan homes in Moscow as a part of working visit and 4 children of Kyrgyz citizens aged 6 months to 5 years were returned to Kyrgyzstan following the talks.
"Currently, the Ombudsman's Office is working on the return of another child from Russia, whose mother was in jail. The issue of returning the child is being resolved. Work in this direction is underway," Mamytov said.
