'Ex-Deputy PM of Kazakhstan will be appointed as governor of Karaganda region' — Tokayev

AKIPRESS.COM - Former Deputy Prime Minister Zhenis Kasymbek will be appointed as governor of Karaganda region, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev told on Twitter. "Former governor of Karaganda region Yerlan Koshanov, the experienced civil servant, has been appointed as Chief of Staff of the President. Deputy Prime Minister Zhenis Kasymbek, the competent policy maker, is recommended for the post of governor of the region," Tokayev said.
The 44-year-old Kasymbek has been served as Deputy Prime Minister of the country since February 25, 2019.
