Total number of businessmen in Kyrgyzstan is 500,000: PM

AKIPRESS.COM - Today the total number of businessmen in Kyrgyzstan is 500,000, said Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Entrepreneur's Day.
Small and medium businesses account for over 30% in the country's GDP, he said.
It speaks for the fact that the businessmen are the growth engine and locomotive of domestic economy, he noted.
In his address he also highlighted the role of businesses in the regions and contribution of women running their own businesses to the economy.
