Bishkek, Sept.20, 2019. /Kabar/. At the invitation of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, Kyrgyz leader Sooronbay Jenbekov today, Sept 20, has arrived in Orenburg (Russia) for one-day working trip.
Joint practical actions of troops with the participation of a contingent of the Army of Kyrgyzstan’s Armed Forces will be practiced in the Russian city, the Kyrgyz President’s press service said.
The main purpose of the exercises is to train personnel to conduct military operations in modern conditions and to increase the interoperability of military command and control bodies of allied states.
Also, the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Russia will meet and discuss topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, including ensuring security in the region.
The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic includes Minister of Foreign Affairs Chingiz Aidarbekov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Rayimberdi Duishenbiev, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of President’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Sydykov, and Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia Alikbek Dzhekshenkulov.
