President Jeenbekov attends closing ceremony of National Nomad Games in Talas

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov participated in the closing ceremony of National Nomad Games in Manas-Ordo complex in the Talas region on Sept 21, the President's Office said. Jeenbekov noted that Nomad Games renew and continue the historical tradition designed to demonstrate the unity of the Kyrgyz people.
The festive ceremony presented theatrical performance based on the Manas epic, a parade of athletes and cultural representatives from all regions of the country, as well as a concert program. The next National Nomad Games will be held in the Osh region in 2020.
The national Nomad Games kicked off on September 16 and cultural events on were held on September 19.
