Autumn conscription to call 3,000 people

AKIPRESS.COM - Autumn conscription to call 3,000 people, said head of main branch of local military authorities of state committee for defense Syrgak Bodobayev on Sept 23. "The autumn conscription campaign to the Kyrgyzstan's Armed Forces began on September and will last until November. 3,000 citizens are planned to be conscripted for military service and 7,000 citizens for alternative service," he said.
The conscripts will serve in the units and troops of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, State Committee for Defense, State Border Service, National Security Committee and State Penitentiary Service.
