"My formula is strong president, powerful parliament and responsible government" — Tokayev at UN General Assembly session

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined his goals in political system of Kazakhstan speaking at the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports.
"My formula for political system of Kazakhstan is strong president, powerful parliament and responsible government. I am strongly convinced that this idea meets the demands of our nation and guarantees a peaceful future," he said.
As a President, Tokayev noted, that he plans first to build a government of commonwealth. His goal is to provide benefits from reforms and inclusive society for millions of Kazakhstanis.
"Kazakhstan will not have succussful history of its social and economic development without implementing a deep political transformation," Tokayev added.
According to him, democracy in the country is yet in the process of development and requires a constant study.
The Kazakh President told about big changes in the law enforcement bodies of the country and promised to support the rule of law in every sphere and everyday life of the citizens.
