Presidents of Kazakhstan, Finland vow to boost relations

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Finland Sauli Niinistö held a meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly debate, Akorda reports. The two discussed economic, transport, technological cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on the international agenda.
The Kazakh President noted that Finland is one of the key partners of Kazakhstan in Northern Europe and the European Union. He praised the constructive political dialogue with the country and promised to continue the mutually beneficial ties.
After the talks with the Finnish President, Tokayev met with President of Moldova Igor Dodon. They considered bilateral relation in political, trade and economic spheres. The head of state confirmed his readiness for further strengthening of the friendly relations. The President Dodon invited Tokayev to make an official visit to Moldova next year.
