Entrepreneurs of Ankara Industrial Chamber to visit Kyrgyzstan to get acquainted with investment potential

Entrepreneurs of the Ankara Industrial Chamber will visit Kyrgyzstan to get acquainted with the investment potential of the country, chairman of the board of the Industrial Chamber of Ankara Nurettin Ozdebir told during a meeting wioth Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, at a meeting, the leadership of the Industrial Chamber of Ankara was provided with the information on investment opportunities and the climate in the Kyrgyz Republic, including the conditions for doing business (low taxes and costs of doing business), as well as economic partners and foreign trade turnover of the Kyrgyz Republic, on the membership of the Kyrgyz Republic in the EAEU and the status of GSP + received from the European Union. Ambassador Omuraliev also drew attention to priority sectors of the Kyrgyz economy, such as agriculture, light industry, hydropower, mining, as well as services and tourism.
The sides discussed the possibilities of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in the industry and agreed to organize a study visit of a delegation of entrepreneurs of the Industrial Chamber of Ankara to Kyrgyzstan, including in the format of B2B meetings with Kyrgyz entrepreneurs.
Ozdebir expressed readiness to organize the participation of entrepreneurs of the Industrial Chamber of Ankara in a business forum planned for the upcoming 9th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
Ankara Industrial Chamber is a member of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey. It was founded on November 18, 1963. Members of the Chamber are 8,000 thousand Turkish companies in the field of industry, which operate in 35 sectors of the economy. In 2018, Chamber companies exported $ 8 billion worth of products.
