Bishkek, Sept.26, 2019. /Kabar/. Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov and Poland Jacek Czaputowicz was held on the margins of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly.
Special attention was paid to the implementation of the Polish concessional loan of EUR 40 million and further development of economic cooperation, including the strengthening of contacts between business circles of the two countries, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
In order to further develop the bilateral cooperation, strengthen the legal framework, develop inter-parliamentary cooperation, Aidarbekov proposed to hold regular political consultations, expressing hope for further intensification of the entire complex of relations between the two countries.
The upcoming joint events in the Central Asia-Visegrad Four format of cooperation were also discussed. The foreign ministers exchanged views on key aspects of the international and regional agenda, including interaction in the UN, EU, OSCE and other international organizations.
The Polish side informed about the work carried out as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, and the Kyrgyz side informed about the results of membership in the UN Human Rights Council.
FM Aidarbekov invited his counterpart Czaputowicz to visit Kyrgyzstan.
