Bishkek, Sept.27, 2019. /Kabar/. Yesterday, Sept. 26 Kyrgyzstan’s President Sooronbay Jeenbekov visited Issyk-Kul Oblast for a working trip.
During the trip, the President held a meeting with residents of Dzheti-Oguz region. Sooronbay Jeenbekov spoke in detail about the priorities of his presidential activities, the primary objectives for the development of the country, his press service reported.
The meeting was held in the question-and-answer format. Heads of the relevant ministries and departments also answered the questions of local residents.
At the meeting with President, which lasted more than four hours, the villagers touched upon the expansion of powers of local authorities, transformation of lands, provision of clean water, construction of schools, kindergartens, medical and cultural facilities, lack of school textbooks, reconstruction of roads, etc. Some participants of the meeting also asked personal questions.
As part of his visit, Jeenbekov got acquainted with the projects on provision of clean water, construction of irrigation facilities, and activities of the One Village - One Product project in Tilekmat village.
At the end of the trip, the Kyrgyz leader visited a nursery in the village of Zhenish, where seedlings of various fruit varieties are grown. The agricultural fair of the Issyk-Kul Oblast was also presented here. Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation Erkinbek Choduyev spoke about the use and structure of arable land in the region.
The President talked to local farmers, discussed the country's agricultural sector and regional development.
