AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz athlete Atabek Azisbekov rose to 9th place in world's strongest judokas ranking.
The updated rating was composed following the results of the 2019 World Championships in Nur Sultan, Kazakhstan. The Greco-Roman wrestler won a license for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Kyrgyz athlete has 28 points and 9th place in the ranking in men's 87 kg. The world ranking is leaded by Victor Lorints from Hungary, whom Azisbekov lost in Nur-Sultan.
