Tokayev, Lavrov to hold talks in Nur-Sultan

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov will arrive in Kazakhstan on October 8-9, spokesman of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Aibek Smadiyarov told a briefing, Sputnik Kazakhstan said.
As part of the official visit, Lavrov will hold talks with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi.
"Foreign Ministers will discuss the key issues of Kazakh-Russian cooperation, cooperation within the framework of the international organizations and the integration unions," the spokesman noted.
Global and regional security issues are also in the agenda.
The sides will touch the issues of preparation for upcoming bilateral and multilateral events by the end of the year.
On October 10, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan and Russia will take part in the regular session of the Foreign Ministers of the CIS countries in Ashgabat under chairmanship of Turkmenistan.
