100 ATMs will be imported and installed in Kyrgyzstan by year end

AKIPRESS.COM - 100 ATMs will be delivered and installed in Kyrgyzstan by year end, said Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Tolkunbek Abdygulov.
The number of ATMs grew by 95 pieces or 6.2%, POS-terminals - 1 539 or 16.6%.
In order to provide the population in remote regions with cash, a pilot project of bank cash desks deployment in 127 villages in Jalal-Abad, Osh and Naryn regions was launched, he said.
This project will also allow the National Bank to draw up more accurate maps of further placement of the ATMs in accordance with the needs of the population in the regions, he said.
