Customs duties on imported cars will increase 10 times in Kyrgyzstan from 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - The period of preferential customs duties on imported cars is coming to an end on 31 December 2019, the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan reminded.
Starting from January 1, 2020 the new customs duties on imported cars for personal use will come into force based on the decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission's council dated 20 Dec 2017.
The State Customs Service brought an example of how the customs duties will increase from 2020:
- the customs duties on imported Toyota Camry of 2009 year with car body of 2500 m3 is $1,250 before 31 Dec 2019.
- the customs duties on imported Toyota Camry of 2009 year with car body of 2500 m3 will be $13,600 starting from 1 Jan 2020.
