Tajik president condoles with Japan over deadly typhoon

AKIPRESS.COM - Tajik President Emomali Rahmon expressed his condolences to Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe over the devastating typhoon that hit Japan on October 12 leaving dozens dead and many missing, according to the Tajik president's official website.
The death toll in the worst typhoon to hit Japan in decades climbed to 66 on Tuesday as rescuers slogged through mud and debris in an increasingly grim search for the missing.
Thousands of homes remained without power or water.
