Parliament of Kazakhstan passes amendments to 2019 state budget

AKIPRESS.COM - The Senate of the Kazakh Parliament on Thursday adopted amendments to the law on state budget for 2019-2021, Vlast.kz reports.
The amendments mainly were made on increasing costs for payment of the targeted social assistance, government's reserve for urgent needs.
According to the statement of the committee on finance and budget, indicators of social and economic development of the country for 2019 are preserved at the forecast level announced in April 2019.
GDP growth in 2019 is expected at 3.8%. The projected price for oil is offered to be kept at the level of $55 per barrel.
The amendments also concerned clarification of the issues of urgen financing in social sphere, creation of additional sources of economic growth in the next years and providing reasonable level of reserve of the government for urgent tasks until the end of 2019.
Taking into consideration the changes, the state budget revenues will be 10,663,500 billion tenge, costs - 12,028.1 billion tenge, deficit - 1,364.6 billion tenge or 2.1% of GDP.
