AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstanis in the morning of October 24 were disconnected from mobile communication, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
One of the residents of Nur-Sultan told Sputnik Kazakhstan that she noticed a lack of mobile service only at 7:00 am today.
"When I wanted to make a call from my mobile telephone, the screen showed a message saying the telephone is not registered. There was not an access to the Internet. Later, an sms came that I should send my personal identification number in a message. The connection appeared after I made it," the girl said.
She said that her mobile telephone was bought this year and it was not registered.
The telecommunication committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan reported that the process of registration of subscriber devices came to an end since January 1, 2019.
If citizens bought telecophones after this date and he or she has not yet registered it, then the person should undergo the registration by sending an sms or come to the operators for making the procedure.
A number of complaints from Kazakhstanis on disconnection from mobile communication increased over the last days. In this regard, we are noticing that the citizens got an opportunity to find out how many numbers are registered on them via special service. In case of finding wrong numbers registered on them, the committee recommends all citizens to appeal to the mobile operators and turn off this numbers, according to Chairman of the telecommunication committee Vitaly Yaroshenko.
The committee reminded that registration is an important element in fighting thefts of mobile telephones and frauds.
