Belarus to build dairy farm in Almaty region

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministries of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and Belarus agreed on construction of a milk plant in Almaty region, Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Saparkhan Omarov told in Akorda, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports.
"Yesterday I met with my colleague - Minister of Agriculture of Belarus - and held the first session of the working group on cooperation between the Ministries. The first results were signing of a memorandum on construction of a farm producing veterinary drugs. The second agreement is on construction of a milk farm in Almaty region," Omarov said.
The Minister noted that the Kazakhstani specialists will visit Belarus to get acquainted with the technology.
The project will start in 2020, he said.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is on official visit in Kazakhstan on October 24-25. On Friday, he will hold talks with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
