Former guard soldier of Kyrgyzstan who ran away from penal colony detained in Moscow

AKIPRESS.COM - A native of Kyrgyzstan who ran away from penal colony and was wanted since 2012 was detained in Moscow, the Interior Ministry said.
In 2000, the former guard soldier was convicted for stealing 16 grenades and gun cartridges from the armament depot. He first served his sentence in prison and then was moved to the penal colony, from which he ran away.
In 2012, the man was announced wanted.
The man's extradition to Kyrgyzstan for criminal prosecution is being solved now, the statement said.
