Kyrgyzstan, Turkey Health Ministers discuss creation of modern diagnostic center in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Health Ministry of Kyrgyzstan Kosmosbek Cholponbayev met with his Turkish counterpart Fahrettin Koca in Istanbul on Oct 30 within the 6th congress of HIMSS Eurasia Health IT Conference and Exhibition, the ministry reports. During the meeting, the ministers of two states discussed the cooperation issues in the health care, pharmacy and medical products.
The facilitation of the ratification of the agreement on the opening and joint operation of e Bishkek Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship State Hospital and the training of Kyrgyz specialists in various medical faculties of Turkey were most essential issues of the discussion.
The parties discussed the issues of use of the annual quotas for treatment of Kyrgyz citizens in state Turkish clinics, cooperation in the creation and implementation of the National database of medicines and medical products.
During the meeting, the Turkish Health Health voiced the intention to organize the work of a modern diagnostic center in Kyrgyzstan, as well as discussed the issue of access of medical services for Kyrgyz citizens working in Turkey and agreed to create a permanent working commission to coordinate the work in all areas of health care sphere in the two countries.
