President Jeenbekov says no constitutional referendum planned

AKIPRESS.COM - "I do not intend to conduct any referendums to amend the Constitution," President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said at the meeting with heads of media organizations of Kyrgyzstan on November 2. "I do not intend to extend my powers either," he said.
He reminded the country has parliamentary democracy.
The meeting was held in the Ala-Archa State Residence.
