AKIPRESS.COM - The anti-corruption service of Kazakhstan is waiting for the respond from the General Prosecutor's Office to make a decision on bringing or not bringing of employees to liability, Zakon.kz reported.
On October 30, Deputy Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan Marat Akhmetzhanov during the Parliament session said that the criminal case against deputy governor of Almaty regionm Bagdat Manzorov was withdrawn due to the absense of a criminal act.
He added that the certain employees of the anti-corruption service, who launched the case, will be prosecuted for shortcomings.
In this regard, Zakon.kz sent a request to the anti-corruption service to ask who started investigation against Manzorov and what punishment will be imposed in case of establishment of illegitimacy.
The anti-corruption service replied that the issue of prosecution of employees will be resolved after the General Prosecutor's Office responds to the service.
Head of the investigation department of the anti-corruption service Kanat Suleimanov earlier told that the anti-corruption service does not agree with the position of the General Prosecutor's Office.
