Lawmaker wonders on cut of expenditures for social sphere

AKIPRESS.COM - "What was the reason to cut expenditure for social sphere?", wondered MP Marlen Mamataliyev during the session of the parliament's budget committee on Nov 11. "The fiscal services could not collect 9 billion soms of revenues in 2019. You said that wages were increased, funds were allocated for hemodialysis, borders, culture and roads, however the expenditures for social sphere were cut by 1 billion soms. What were the reasons for this? Mamataliyev addressed to Prime Minister.
Prime Minister replied that this is associated with elaboration.
"So the expenditure were not cut?" asked lawmaker.
"Yes. There was just optimization. The targeting of the provided aid was reinforced," confirmed Abilgaziyev.
