Kyrgyz Ambassador, Turkish and Arab countries Business People Association discuss cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with businessmen of Turkish and Arab countries Business People Association (TURAB) headed by its Chairman Fahri Kus. Parties discussed the establishment of trade and economic ties between Kyrgyz entrepreneurs and businessmen-members of TURAB, foreign ministry said.
Ambassador Omuraliev informed regarding the investment potential of Kyrgyzstan and invited the entrepreneurs of the Association to invest in such sectors of the Kyrgyz economy as energy, agriculture, mining, etc. He drew attention to the possibility of duty-free export of goods produced in Kyrgyzstan for 180 million to the EAEU market, as well as under the GSP + and GSP programs 6200 and 3200 items of goods to the EU and US markets, respectively. Kubanychbek Omuraliev also noted that our country has low taxes and costs for doing business, as well as a visa-free regime for citizens of 68 countries.
Ambassador Omuraliev expressed his readiness to assist in establishing ties between the business communities of the two countries and invited the companies of the above-mentioned organization to take part at the Kyrgyz-Turkish Business Forum, which is scheduled to be held on August 6, 2021, in Cholpon-Ata in Kyrgyzstan.
Fahri Kus expressed gratitude for the provided information and noted the readiness of TURAB entrepreneurs to participate in future Business Forums and B2B meetings of businessmen of the two countries.
