Russian Foreign Minister to visit Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will visit Uzbekistan on July 15-16, Russian Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Maria Zaharova said.
Foreign Minister Lavrov will attend the International Conference "Central and South Asia: Regional Connections. Challenges and Opportunities".
The participants of the Conference will discuss cross-region cooperation.
The 4th meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will be held on July 16 in Tashkent.
The Foreign Ministers will discuss cooperation in regional securitym countering illicit drug trafficking and terrorism.
