AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the Management Board of "Baiterek" National Managing Holding" JSC Aidar Arifkhanov, as a part of the official delegation, participated in the XVI Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia involving Presidents of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Vladimir Putin, the holding said.
The event took place on November 6-7 of this year in Omsk and was devoted to pressing issues of cross-border cooperation development.
The forum has become an effective platform for attracting investments, establishing business contacts, as well as increasing export opportunities of Kazakhstan.
As a part of this event, the holding's group of companies signed a series of documents on cooperation with domestic and Russian enterprises.
Thus, "KazakhExport" EIC" JSC signed agreements with "KPS Steel" Trading House" (a Kazakhstani enterprise for the production of steel seamless pipes for oil and gas industry) and "Control Leasing" LLC (a Russian motor leasing company), which are aimed at supporting Kazakhstani goods export to the Russian market.
The cooperation agreement signed with "Moskommertsbank" CB (a subsidiary of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation) will allow "KazakhExport" EIC" JSC consolidating interaction of the parties in the implementation of trade finance tool.
"Damu" EDF" JSC signed a cooperation agreement with the "Bank of Russia" JSC for the support of small and medium enterprises. Due to the agreements reached, the parties intend to cooperate in the implementation of measures to support entrepreneurs, including financial-guarantee and information-marketing support and exchange of experience.
In addition, during the forum, Damu Fund acted as the coordinator of the "Women's Entrepreneurship as a Driver for Creative Economy Growth" panel session.
The Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia has been held since 2003. This dialogue platform has established itself as an effective interstate instrument for strengthening economic ties.
