New mosque for $100,000 opens in Jalal-Abad

AKIPRESS.COM - The new building of the regional subdivion of muftiat and mosque was opened in Jalal-Abad region, Turmush reports. The opening ceremony was attended by the mufti of Kyrgyzstan Maksatbek Toktomushev, director of state committee for religious affairs Zaiyrbek Ergeshov, chairman of ulemas council Abibilla Kadyrberdiyev, governor of the region, mayor and locals.
The construction began in March, 2019. The estimation construction cost reached $100,000. The funds were allocated by sponsors.
The region has 634 mosques.
