Kyrgyzstan is reliable partner of UN - President Jeenbekov

AKIPRESS.COM - Accession of Kyrgyzstan into the United Nations Organization has become one of the first steps of independent Kyrgyzstan in foreign policy after the country gained sovereignty, President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said at the forum on occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan and prospects of cooperation with the United Nations Organization today. The UN programs held Kyrgyzstan in implementation of economic, political and social reforms, the President said.
The President said various ideas are voiced lately about UN reform and change of world integration form.
"Kyrgyzstan finds it necessary only to enhance effectiveness and wight of this universal international organization via implementation of new reforms. Kyrgyzstan is a reliable partner of the United Nations Organization. Cooperation with this reputed organization is a priority area for us," President Jeenbekov said.
The President said constructive relations will be continued for development of Kyrgyzstan in a peaceful, safe and sustainable environment.
