Lawmaker offers to decrease number of state-run media to ease load on budget

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Dastan Bekeshev (SDPK) during the session of the parliamentary committee on economic and fiscal policy proposed to decrease a number of government-run media to reduce load on budget.
According to him, 40 million som were allocated to state-run media from budget.
Minister of Finance Baktygul Jeenbekova said that these funds were provided to pay the salaries of the employees.
Bekeshev said that a lot of funds are provided to support the state-run media.
The MP was promised that his proposal will be considered.
