Turkmenistan to hold SPECA Days

AKIPRESS.COM - The international high-level events (SPECA Days) will be held in Ashgabat from November 18-21 in connection with Turkmenistan's chairmanship of the UN Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia.
These events include the SPECA Forum on Trade Policy, meetings of working groups on SPECA program on sustainable transport and trade, SPECA 2019 economic forum, the 14th meeting of SPECA Steering Committee.
The United Nations Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) was launched in 1998 to strengthen subregional cooperation in Central Asia and its integration into the world economy.
The countries of SPECA are Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) jointly provide overall support to the Programme.
