President Rahmon, ex-President of Afghanistan Karzai hold talks in Dushanbe

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon today met ex-President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai, the president's press service reports.
A broad range of issues was discussed at the meeting, including bilateral cooperation, current economic and security situation in Afghanistan, regional and global issues.
The sides found it necessary to use all available resources to bring peace and stability to the region, to prevent extremism and illicit drug trafficking.
Hamid Karzai was the President of Afghanistan in 2004-2014.
