Kyrgyz mufti attends II Summit of World Religious Leaders in Baku

AKIPRESS.COM - The mufti of Kyrgyzstan Maksat Toktomushev attended the II Summit of the World Religious Leaders on Nov 14. Over 70 mufties and religious figures, representatives of international organizations and over 500 guests attended the summit, which was organized at the initiative of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The meeting discussed the issues of strengthening of interreligious cooperation, combating terrorism and extremism, issues of women and children.
A declaration was adopted at the summit.
