AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov on November 15 took part in the meeting of Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries in Tashkent, the MFA said. The diplomats discussed preparation for the consultative meeting of heads of state of Central Asia on November 29 in the capital city of Uzbekistan.
Aidarbekov during the talks underlined the importance of cooperation aimed at development of multifaceted trade and economic relations, providing security in the region and further consolidation of joint efforts on fighting modern challenges.
The Kyrgyz side also stressed the importance of providing environmental safety and the need of effective coordination of efforts of all countries of the region in resolution of glacial melting and uranium tailings on the territory of Central Asia.
