Uzbek archaeologists discover cemetery of Turkic Khaganate

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbek archaeologists have discovered the cemetery of the Turkic Khaganate of the 7th-6th centuries 100 km to the north-east of Tashkent, UzA reports.
This cemetery was discovered after floods, snow and rain.
Scholars of the National Archaeological Center of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan made one-day exploration trip studying the area, some skeletons, skull bones. They also found the ceramic dishes, iron knives.
The National Archaeological Center has set up the research group for nomadic cultures in West Tien-Shan, which plans to carry out extensive archaeological digs in the area.
