Kyrgyzstan marks 30th anniversary of Convention on Rights of Child

AKIPRESS.COM - A number of events kicked off in Kyrgyzstan on occasion of 30th anniversary of Convention on the Rights of the Child and 25th anniversary of ratification of this convention in Kyrgyzstan. 25 children from all regions of Kyrgyzstan were invited to the parliament on Nov 20.
The Parliament Speaker Dastan Jumabekov said that participation of children in the public sphere of one of the examples of the implementation of their rights. Kyrgyzstan take on the obligation to protect children by joining to this convention, he said.
The children will participate in the parliament session, which will discuss their rights.
