President Mirziyoyev launches next phase of construction of $150 million worth IT Park

AKIPRESS.COM - President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the IT Park in Mirzo-Ulugbek district o of Tashkent on November 20. The President was familiarized with projects and infrastructure of the Park. .
The IT Park hosts incubation and acceleration programs for start-ups. First projects in financial technologies, e-commerce, e-education, biotechnologies are carried out there.
Resident companies are exempt from taxes and customs duties until January 1, 2028. The number of companies exceeded 300 for a short period of time, the president's press service said.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid a symbolical first stone at the place of construction of the new stage of the IT Park.
The annual output of the IT Park is expected to exceed $10 million in 2020 to reach $100 million by 2025. The project is estimated at $150 million.
