Citizen of Kyrgyzstan detained in St Petersburg for beating up a police office

AKIPRESS.COM - A citizen of Kyrgyzstan was detained in St Petersburg for beating up a police office, the Pskov region investigation committee said.
On 31 December 2016, according to Russian investigators, two drunk citizens of Kyrgyzstan were caught by the police when they damaged the houses parked in the yard. The police officers tried to detain them, but they resisted and one of the officers were beaten up. The suspects were able to flee the scene and were announced federally wanted.
One of the suspects was detained in St Petersburg, the search for his accomplice is under way.
