Over 5,100 domestic violence cases registered in Kyrgyzstan in 10 months of this year

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 5,185 domestic violence cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan in 10 months of this year, the government's press service said. The law enforcement agencies issued 5,185 domestic violence orders for this period, 4,876 orders were against men, which is 94.1% of all orders. 309 protection orders were issued against women (5.9%).
Fight against domestic violence remains a critical problem in Kyrgyzstan. The prevalence rate of domestic violence remains high.
