'Kazakhstan will strongly defend interests of its citizens and national business abroad' — Tokayev

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during the meeting with heads of foreign diplomatic missions said that Kazakhstan will always advocate the interests of its citizens and business abroad, his spokesman Berik Uali reported.
"Our foreign policy is very pragmatic. Kazakhstan will strongly defend the interests of our citizens and the national business abroad. This year, we have significantly expanded the diplomatic infrastructure by sending Ambassadors to the capitals of Bulgaria, Latvia, Estonia, Serbia, Slovakia, Portugal and Switzerland. This process will continue amid the principle of mutuality," the head of state said.
The President said that the new level of economic development is the most important thing in the foreign policy of Kazakhstan.
The diplomats are ordered to attract quality investments in the economy of the country, according to Tokayev.
