Kazakhstan sells chocolate for $21 million abroad

AKIPRESS.COM - Among the exported goods produced in Kazakhstan, the share of chocolate and confectionery products in 2019 made 9%, the Ministry of Agriculture of the country reports.
Kazakhstan since the beginning of this year sold to foreign countries a chocolate worth $21 million and the confectionery products for $42.6 million.
The biggest share in the export of ready products processed in Kazakhstan falls to such goods as flour (31%) and seed oil (15%).
In general, export of processed products within 9 months of 2019 amounted to $757 million, including 77% - flour, seed oil, diary products, confectionery products, fish, mineral water, chocolate, macaroni and poultry.
