Kyrgyz parliament hosts 1st youth medical forum

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz parliament hosted 1st Bishkek youth medical forum "Future of medicine through the eyes of youth" on Nov 26. The corresponding resolution was adopted following the results of the forum, the parliament said.
According to the forum participants, most of the young people want to study abroad due to the lack of conditions to obtain qualitative medical education in the country. They continue to work abroad after graduation from university, the participants said.
According to some specialists, the government should develop the program for students exchange, but with the obligation that they will return to Kyrgyzstan.
The event initiator MP Aida Ismailova said that forum participants raised acute issues and noted that a resolution was adopted following the forum, which will be considered at the parliament committee meeting and a number of instructions will be given to government and corresponding state bodies.
