Presidents of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan hold talks in Tashkent

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting in Tashkent, the Uzbek president's press service said. The President discussed relevant aspects of bilateral cooperation and discussed prospects of their expansion.
A special attention was paid to expansion of cooperation in trade, implementation of joint projects in machine building, energy sector, transport, agriculture and other priority areas.
Importance of the continued contacts on the level of regions, as well as in cultural and humanitarian realms was underscored.
The leaders also exchanged views on international and regional issues.
The second consultative meeting of the Central Asian leaders will be held today in Tashkent.
