Smoke in Bishkek exceeds maximum concentration limit by 2.5 times

AKIPRESS.COM - Employees of the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry of Kyrgyzstan measured the air quality in some districts of Bishkek with the help of drones and special equipment, the press service of the Agency said.
The samples were taken at the intersections of Gagarin-Nekrasov, Lushikhina-Klinskaya, Mesarosha-Abdraeva, Moscow-Umetaliev, Bakaev-Ahunbaev streets, as well as in Archa-Beshik, Ak-Orgo and Ak-Ordo real estates.
As a result of checks, exceeding of the maximum concentration limit was observed.
In other places where samples were taken no overlimit was revealed.
The agency notes that the atmospheric air measurements are carried out on 10 components - 3 types of dust particles and 7 gases: sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon dioxide, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, the amount of hydrocarbons and others.
