New mayor of Taraz appointed

AKIPRESS.COM - Aitkazy Karabalayev has been appointed as mayor of the city of Taraz on December 3, the spokesman of governor of Zhambyl region Nuradin Rakai told on Facebook.
The new mayor was named by the decision of the President and the Taraz city administration.
At the instruction of the President, the previous mayor of Taraz Kairat Dosayev was removed from his post on November 21 after the incident in the school, where a 12-year-old schoolgirl was raped.
