AKIPRESS.COM - A resident of Nur-Sultan Askhat Akhmedyarov went rallying in front of the Embassy of Ukraine to apologize for the words of the Kazakh President about Crimea annexation, Vlast.kz reported.
"Sorry for him," says the poster he was holding during his one-man rally.
The activist said he wants to apologize to the employees of the Ukrainian Embassy for words said by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the interview with the Deutsche Welle.
Police upon arrival took his poster and attempted to detain the activist, but then they just warned to leave the territory of the Ukrainian Embassy.
In the interview with Deutsche Welle, Tokayev said "First of all, we do not call what happened in Crimea as annexation. Annexation is too heavy word for Crimea".
The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine later warned the Kazakh side of demarche.
