Kyrgyz government approves agreement on exchange of information about goods and vehicles shipped through customs borders of EAEU and China

AKIPRESS.COM - The government of Kyrgyzstan by its decree dated November 29, 2019 confirmed the agreement on exchange of information about goods and vehicles transported through the customs borders of the Eurasian Economic Union and China signed on June 6, 2019 in St. Petersburg.
The State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan was determined as a body accountable for implementation of the agreement.
The goal of the agreement is organization of cooperation on information exchange about goods and vehicles shipped through the customs borders of the EAEU and China and allowing to
- accelerate the customs operations in respect of goods imported into the customs territories of the Eurasian Economic Union and China, as well as goods transported in transit;
- use the data on goods and vehicles of international transport obtained during the exchange of information to increase efficiency in the field of risk management and improve forms of customs control;
- reduce the risks associated with the import into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union and China of potentially dangerous, prohibited and restricted to movement of goods with evasion of customs control, and other risks affecting the interests of the Parties in the field of security.
