Kyrgyzstan, Japan discuss cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - The Parliament members of Kyrgyzstan Taalaibek Masabirov and Nurbek Totonov on December 6 met with Director-General, Patent and Design Examination Department of Japan Toshio Taniyama, the Parliament's press service said. The sides discussed development of bilateral cooperation, including on protection of intellectual property.
The parliamentarians said that Kyrgyzstan is interested in cooperation with Japan in the framework of international organizations as well.
The Japanese side noted about the upcoming elections of a Director of the World Intellectual Property Organisation in 2020 and that Japan nominated Kenichiro Natsume.
