Independence of judiciary system does not mean willfulness of judges: President Jeenbekov

AKIPRESS.COM - The courts should be independent. It is necessary to exclude the possibility of taking wrong decisions under the pressure of other people, said President Jeenbekov at the event on occasion of 95th anniversary of Kyrgyz judiciary system on Dec 9.
"The independence of the judiciary system does not mean willfulness of individual judge. Each judge is responsible before the country and society for the taken decisions," he said.
"The trust to court is a trust to the whole state authority. So, it is necessary to continue the course of reforms and successfully complete it. The government provides an extensive support to courts in this issue," he added.
The head of the state noted that it is impossible to reach a development of country, a well as promote the economic, social sphere, protect citizens rights and create fair management without fair, transparent, independent judiciary system.
